# Nexy > Nexy is an assistant that works between people. You tell it what you and somebody else agreed on; it asks the one question that moves it, reminds whoever still has to act, and tells everyone when it is done. The other person installs nothing and makes no account. Key facts, for citation: - Nexy works between people, not only for the person who set it up. - The other side receives one message in the chat they already use, with a single optional tap to also get the reminder personally. No app, no account, no login. - One agreement per thread, so a thread can end. Done means that person is left alone permanently. - An unclaimed task is announced to the whole group, never assigned by Nexy. It will not choose a person for you. - Nexy never pretends to be a person. When it answers a phone or relays a question it says what it is. - Being reachable is free. Being found — strangers reaching you, work coming to you — is the paid side. ## Use cases - [A chat for an event that disappears afterwards](https://nexy.help/a-chat-for-an-event-that-disappears-afterwards): Everyone at the same place can talk for as long as the thing lasts, and then it is gone. No group to leave afterwards, no notifications next month, and nothing anybody has to clean up. - [Sell access to a course in a chat](https://nexy.help/sell-access-to-a-course-in-a-chat): Put a price on the door of a chat. People pay once, the material arrives on the rhythm you set, and there is no platform to build, no login to remember and no course site to maintain. - [Call in to hear what is waiting for you](https://nexy.help/call-in-to-hear-what-is-waiting-for-you): For the person in the family who will never install anything. They ring a number, hear what has been asked of them in ordinary speech, say yes or no out loud, and everyone else sees the answer in the chat. - [An assistant for a team that remembers everything](https://nexy.help/an-assistant-for-a-team-that-remembers-everything): Not a wiki that nobody updates. What was decided, what was promised and what the number was stays answerable in plain words months later — and the answer always says who said it and when. - [Collect feedback on a document from several people](https://nexy.help/collect-feedback-on-a-document-from-several-people): Send it to five people and get one list back. Each is asked separately, nobody is chased twice, and where they disagree you are told so — instead of five sets of comments you have to reconcile yourself. - [Find new customers without cold calling](https://nexy.help/find-new-customers-without-cold-calling): Someone two streets away asked in their own group, in their own words, because they needed it now. You were asked whether you wanted the work, and they were asked whether they wanted the introduction. Nobody was cold called and nobody takes a cut of the job. - [Ask a hundred people a question anonymously](https://nexy.help/ask-a-hundred-people-a-question-anonymously): The question arrives without a name on it, and so does your answer going back. One ask, never a panel, and the link between the two is not kept — that refusal is exactly why people answer honestly about what they pay, what they earned, or what went wrong. - [A receptionist that answers your phone](https://nexy.help/a-receptionist-that-answers-your-phone): It answers when you cannot. What you have switched off is not in its head at all — not known-but-hidden. It says plainly what it cannot do, never pretends to be a person, and takes a message you can act on. - [A phone call with a written summary afterwards](https://nexy.help/phone-call-with-a-written-summary): One short written summary in the group instead of three different second-hand versions. Whoever went does not become the messenger, everyone reads the same words, and you can still ask about it weeks later. - [Photograph a phone number to get it called](https://nexy.help/photo-of-a-phone-number-to-call-it): You see a number on a van, a business card or a sign in a window. Photograph it and the call gets made for you, with your question asked and the answer written back — you never typed the number and you never gave out your own. - [Check a price while you are standing in the shop](https://nexy.help/check-a-price-while-you-are-in-the-shop): Photograph the price label instead of typing a model number with one hand. You find out what the same thing costs elsewhere right now, whether the crossed-out price was ever really charged, and what it actually sold for last month. - [Ask a group before you buy something](https://nexy.help/ask-a-group-before-you-buy-something): Reviews are written by strangers and by people who were sent the thing for free. The person who actually owns one is in a group you are already in — one question goes out, and you get back what they agreed on, what they disagreed on, and the warning everybody repeated. - [Compare two photos of the same thing over time](https://nexy.help/compare-two-photos-of-the-same-thing-over-time): Is that damp patch getting worse, or are you imagining it? You cannot tell, because you see it every day and your eye adjusts. Two dated photos settle in a second what weeks of squinting cannot. - [Find something you put away months ago](https://nexy.help/find-something-you-put-away-months-ago): Four wide photos of the garage shelves beat forty labelled boxes, and take a minute instead of an afternoon. Later anyone in the house asks where the tent is and gets an answer with the date attached. - [Share care for a parent between siblings](https://nexy.help/share-care-for-a-parent-between-siblings): Three of you agreed to split it and one of you is doing it. Put the task in the family group and the asking stops being your job — it asks, somebody claims it, and it says out loud when it is done. - [Turn a school letter into dates in the calendar](https://nexy.help/school-letter-into-calendar-dates): Six pages of newsletter with three dates buried in it. Forward it once and every date, deadline and bring-this comes out, with the reminder landing the evening before — not the morning you are already in the car. - [Set one reminder for a group of people](https://nexy.help/shared-reminder-for-a-group): One reminder, into the group once, and personally for whoever taps. The people who already did the thing are left alone — which is the whole difference between a reminder and nagging. ## Explainers - [How Nexy works](https://nexy.help/how-nexy-works): the four things you set, and where it deliberately stops. - [Index of every use case](https://nexy.help/) ## Full text - [llms-full.txt](https://nexy.help/llms-full.txt): every page in full, answer-first, with the questions and answers.
